By introducing automated scaling plans, session hosts now start and stop dynamically based on user demand, ensuring resources are only consumed when required.

This optimisation significantly reduced compute and licensing expenses while maintaining performance and user experience. The new architecture also improved security, manageability and resilience across the environment.
